Anita Barone
Barone played in The Shoes, an episode of the fourth season of Seinfeld as Gail Cunningham, a chef who is looking for Elaine Benes' shoes. Early in the 1990s Barone made an appearance on Carol & Company alongside Carol Burnett. Barone had played the role of the husband of Carol Willick Ross Geller in Friends the first time she appeared. Jane Sibbett was her replacement following Barone's departure from Friends for a job that demanded additional time. Barone was in The Jeff Foxworthy Show during the initial season (1995-1996) as well as The War at Home from 2005-2007. In 2000 Barone also co-starred in the sitcom Daddio. Other television credits for Barone include Desperate Housewives Curb Your Enthuasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. Barone earned an award for the Best Supporting Actress Award from Methodfest 2005, for her performance in the character she performed in One Last Ride. In 2010 three years following the time that The War at Home ended the film's run, Barone was cast in a regular role for the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave, Barone's husband and actor Matthew Glave, guest starred in the role of J.J. Jones in two episodes.
