Aaliyah Dana Haaughton soared to fame after releasing the album she dubbed Age Ain't Nothing But a Number in 1994. The album, released when she only had 15 years old it went Gold. It was done as a collaboration that was highly influenced by R. Kelly and it placed her in the limelight. In 1996 Jermaine Durpri along with Timbaland worked together to create her second Album One In A Million. It featured the track If Your Boyfriend Only Knew as the single number one. Aaliyah became a household name for her work as an R&B artist following the release of her second album, One In A Million. She starred with the martial arts legend Jet Li in the action-romance film Romeo Must Die. Joel Silver spotted her in the awards ceremony. In 2002 she was in the vampire movie Queen of the Damned based on the Anne Rice book. The Matrix Sequels was her first appearance in The Matrix Sequels. She was also in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions (2007). She received four Grammy nominations in 2001, 1999, 2002 and 2003. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. She is an Indian-American of one generation who was of origin born in Connecticut. The stage name Mann is an abbreviation for her married name Mankad. The actress employs Aarti Man and Aarti Mahumdar for her stage name. Though she started her career by playing minor film and television performances, her acting career picked up speed in the late 2000s. In addition to The Big Bang Theory her most notable work includes Leverage (2012) Suits (2013) and Grey's Anatomy (2017). The actress has been featured in commercials of major brands such as international automobile manufacturer Volvo. She lives in Los Angeles where she continues to work as an actor.
